Wake Forest University recently received a $5 million grant to establish a
COMPASS Coordinating Center as part of Gilead’s 10-year, $100 million effort
to address the HIV/AIDS epidemic in the Southern United States.
UNC alumna Allison Mathews is the Executive Director of the Center.
She will meet with us to discuss efforts to support faith based organizations
as they serve the vulnerable within their communities.
